This is a photo of Edwin Gray Hendrix (top right) and his four brothers taken in the 1870's or early 1880, probably in Fannin County, TX. Edwin adopted my gg grandfather Joseph Hendrix...giving him the Hendrix name. Joseph was believed to have had the last name of James.
