Forward
The inspiration and motivation to put together this family history came from my Grandmother, Eunice Belle Daniel Webb. She raised me as her own child from an infant. She was the binding force that held our family together. This family history is dedicated to her memory. I am writing this forward on her 101st birthday.
As a young child I remember thinking life would last a long time. As the years go by, life seems shorter and shorter. In fact, it’s just a whisper of time. I often now wonder that if the good Lord lets this old world survive for another several generations, what would be thought of me… would my children’s children want to know their roots? So with that in mind, I hope the future generations will be just a little more blessed by reading this family history. The Bible says that we are encompassed by a "cloud of witnesses". So, if our ancestors are watching us now I believe they will want us all to live life to the fullest, being kind and loving toward one another, running the race of life for the ultimate prize to once again be together as a family in God’s Kingdom. I hope all of my family that reads this history will use it to rekindle the fond memories of the past and for the future I generations I hope that this history keeps alive the memories of your ancestors.
